I could have fit this in elsewhere I suppose, since its a Sea Turtle, but it really serves no educational purpose so I decided to post it here. (Edit: But then again, I now know more about Turtle flatulance than I ever really wanted to, if that counts)

It was incredibly amusing at 5AM anyway  .

I've never had turtles, but it does explain why my Canas smelled so bad after feeding them brussel sprouts ( I have no idea if snails fart ).
The fishroom reeked for days after. :Eeewww:

Hmmm... snail flatulance.... that could happen I should think. Sprouts also foul the water so maybe that contributed. Kale also stinks to high Heaven in the water. I don't use either in my cauldron for that reason and yes, I learned the hard way... I always learn the hard way  . Rotting Kale with a hint of garlic.... YUCK!

I don't think the spouts had time to foul the water, the snails were on it so fast.

Within a couple of minutes of dropping it in, there was a pile of snails on it, next time I went down to look, it was gone !

By the next morning, the whole basement stunk :Eeewww: , I thought my wife was gonna kick my butt.
Thankfully she just gave the 'Don't you ever do that again' speech.
