Warning: The Dirty Dozen

I prefer to pay a little more for organic foods as many chemicals that are considered safe for humans are deadly to aquatic creatures. Pesticides add another concern and much to my dismay, I found out that some vegetables/fruit are so saturated with them that even washing or pealing can't get rid of them all :err: . I strongly suggest that you only buy organic versions of the following 'Dirty Dozen' for your pets or your family, as they are highly contaminated with pesticides and chemicals:

Sweet Bell Peppers
Celery
Nectarines
Strawberries
Cherries
Pears
Imported Grapes
Spinach
Lettuce
Potatoes
