Just in case you receive an e-mail about the Orange Country Animal Shelter shutting down and euthanizing all animals left in the shelter by January 8th, it isn't at all true. They're simply renovating and are a no-kill shelter. Any animals that cannot be taken care of will be relocated to other shelters, but they'll remain open and in operation to the best of their abilities.

Snopes is an awesome resource for hoaxes, urban legends, etc. They always seem to be on top of everything I ever receive in my e-mail. Some are downright dangerous, like that one saying you can reverse your bank machine PIN number to alert authorities if you're robbed at a bank machine (False).
Before you foreward these types of messages, please check there to make sure its legit.
