Skiterish fish?

Well in my 20g tank the fish are super skiterish and jump at everything.

Now my cats not helping as him sure he has fun with the fish but they are scared by the littlest movement. Any ideas guys?:confused:

What type of fish and how long have they been in that tank?

Mollies, platys, 1 pelico snails. Its the tank where the snales have the holes/indents.

Have had them in there for close to 5 years now i think.

Strange. Is the cat a new addition? Have you been doing any netting of fish in the tank lately? My mollies, the day after I have been netting out some fish will become quite leary that they are next on the list and will all suddenly all go into a huddle in the corner just in case (and these fish are normally as friendly as puppies).

Nop nothing.... I moved the tank downstairs a few months ago but nothing since.

and they are not overly active as well. Its realy odd.
