Does anyone know if BN plecos eat eggs laid by other fish?

They don't bother with corydora/aspidora eggs. I have my stuarti's for that! :POed:

 Sounds like you need more tanks:wink: ... that's solve the problem.

Thanks! I only ask because other than BN's I've never had any eggers spawn and just trying to figure out the source of my disappearing Leaf Fish eggs.

I have heard they will eat killi eggs. It may depend on the eggs though, maybe they are fussy which eggs they eat or how well fed they are. Wasn't it you Kat who went through a whole bag of bottom bites to feed them? Your's are just stuffed because you spoil them.:laugh:

Thanks. If it is the BN's who ate them it could be opportunistic. Unlike the other tanks where my BNs not only get their own dinner but snack on all the flake food that the other fish miss and makes it to the bottom, pretty much the only food these ones often get is their own.

I can't speak for BN plecos, but my common pleco used to just love angelfish eggs. He was very thankful my angels became a breeding pair.

He was very thankful my angels became a breeding pair. I guess he just thought that they had finally gotten around to preparing dinner for him.
