We have just made a some changes to the Classifieds. You now have more control over your ad. Please use the 'For Sale' http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/images/icons/FSIcon.gif , 'Want to Buy' http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/images/icons/WTBIcon.gif , and 'Sold' http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/images/icons/SoldIcon.gif icons which have been designed to identify your ads.

Some features for which you had to rely on the moderators to handle for you are now under your control. You now have the capability of editing the thread title of your ad to reflect any changes in status. i.e. when an item is ‘Sold’. You also have the ability to delete your ad. However, we recommend that you do not do so as it provides a future reference for members of details and the asking price for an item.

Please read the Classifieds Section – Rules (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16) for details of the changes and to familiarize yourself with how to use the options newly available to you.

Due to an oversight on my part, anyone who tried to edit their Thread title as stated above would have been unable to do so until late last evening:Blush: . There was a time limitation set on editing it which I forgot about. I then tried setting it to unlimited which isn't an option but instead have now set it to virtually unlimited... you can edit it for the next 25 years or so, so I think that should cover it. ;)

I do sincerely apologize for problems any of you may have encountered and most particularly to fishenthusiast whose ad in the classifieds became riddled with communication regarding editing the thread title (which at that point didn't work).

I will clean up the thread FS: Rarely seen Limia Tridens (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=355) posted by fishenthusiast so that you do not have to weed through the discussion of editing and can focus on the pertinent information in the ad regarding the sale of these fish.

If anyone has any questions or encounters any difficulties in adding/changing icons or editing items in the classifieds please PM me the details and I will be most happy to assist you.

One additional note. Originally, I had stated that you had the option (although not recommended) of deleting your own Thread in the Classifieds. However, after thorough testing, I have discovered that I am unable to make this option available to the members.

If you wish to have your Classified Ad Thread deleted, please PM either one of the Administrators or Team Moderators or the Moderator of that Forum with your request (specifying the thread and include your reasons).
