Minimum Tank Size:2.5-5 gallon
Water Parameters (PH/GH/KH):PH Between 6-7 but can tolerate higher
Temperature:21-24 C or 70-75 F
Special Requirements:Suitable Tankmates:Will keep well with most fish of their size but best suited to species tanks.
Minimum Group Size:Trio;s or groups
Diet:Will eat almost anything from frozen to flake to live food.
Sexing:Males are much more colorful than females.
Breeding and Reproduction:Will lay their eggs in spawning mops or plant thickets and eggs will hatch within a couple weeks. This species is fairly easy to spawn providing that the water conditions are suitable.
