Notes:In my experience I have learned two very important things about this fish that I can never stress enough. The first is that you must have a tight lid that really covers the surface of the entire aquarium. I lost a few fish from jumping. The other lesson is that they will eat smaller fish. I had some smaller lampeyes that I tried keeping in the tank with my A. lineatus and it cost me quite a bit of money to realize how voracious these guys were.
