Tank Specs

Minimum Tank Size: 5 gallon
Water Parameters (PH/GH/KH): PH: 6-8 GH: 2-25
Temperature: 23-26 C
Special Requirements: Suitable Tankmates: Peaceful smaller fishes.
Minimum Group Size: 5 or more.
Diet: Will eat small sinking pellets, flake foods, small live food.
Sexing: Females are larger and fatter.
Breeding and Reproduction: Will breed fairly easily. Lots of hiding places such as caves of rock and lots of plants will help in spawning, and as with other Corydoras water changes can induce spawning. Eggs hatch in four to six days and when they become free swimming need the finest of live foods such as infusoria and vinegar eels. Once they are about two weeks they can take baby brine shrimp.
