Sexing: Males are more colorful
Breeding and Reproduction: Parents will scatter their eggs among fine leaved plants or spawning mops. The parents seldom will eat the eggs or fry if well fed so this species can be easily bred in a well planted species aquarium. Fry will accept newly hatched brine shrimp.
Notes: While this species is not too difficult to keep it should be kept in mind that this species can be sensitive to poor water quality so regular water changes are important in success with Pseudoepiplatys annulatus.
