My P. Latipinna female dropped a few fry for me (at least 6 probably more). I thought I would share some pictures as it seems a lot of people have had some new arrivals of late.
First their home, a 36G tank that I just set up for them. They share their watery home with my L. Tridens.

Next a pair of babies. The darker one was just born, probably the day before the picture was taken. The lighter one is at least 5 days old. They are one of the 6 that I transferred when I set up this new tank last week.

Congrats! I'm amazed you could get pics where they're so young. That's sure a great tank you set up for them. Lucky fry.

Thanks! I am planning on keeping a few molly adults, the rest I don't know what I am going to do with them. They are so large I just don't have the tank space for them all. I really do love the way they look.
I used the macro setting on my camera, and got really really close to the glass to take the pictures. I have 2 15W strip lights and a 20W strip light on the tank so I didn't need my flash to get the pictures clearly. I can't wait for the plants in the tank to fill out more. I have lots of hygro and water sprite in other tanks, but I wanted to let this one establish itself. If I get impatient I will probably find myself stuffing more plants in to hide the sponge filters and heaters.

I like the look of Java Moss growing to fill the bottom of a tank. Its tough to keep clean but not if you have snails, which you do  . Its fun spotting the babies scooting out from under it. By the time I see them they're usually already a decent baby size. At least this way you get to see them as babies - too many plants and you don't know they're there until they're juvies...lol.
Sailfin Mollies will never be hard to find homes for, especially if you have a pure strain. Its next to impossible to find a pure Molly at the commercial level, even if they're labelled as such. You even have the collection data for yours and they're from an award-winning line to boot. :D
In fact, the Slapsaddle Mollies are getting so famous in the States that they're having a hard time getting people to enter shows that they're in...lol...people figure they don't have a chance anyway. My next order will have his Black Sailfin Lyres - apparently those are his most striking domestic strain - HUGE for starters.
