I just saw the CANS thread post and never did find the streaming message until I came back to the main page. Where it is located, I would not have seen the message without the thread. Is there a reason not to use part of the space where the Happy Easter message is streaming across the top to put it right where everyone will see it immediately? I would hate to think we missed the chance to help by just not noticing it.

Thanks for your insight. It's a matter of logistics of the software. The streaming message at the top of the page (Currently reading 'Happy Easter') requires manual editing on my part, and in my absence no alert would have been issued on the forum.
The amber alert ticker (which I consider extremely important and thus donated to and have displayed on the forum) is not easy to incorporate into the header and thus it ended up at the bottom of the page where it is located. I will look into attempting to place it higher on the page to ensure it is more visible but in the interim whenever there is an Amber Alert, I will include it in the marquee at the top of the page ASAP. However, that is solely dependent upon me being here to add it. And so, I'd like to ask all members to please check the Amber Alert Ticker at the bottom of the page when logging in so that you are aware if there is one so that no one misses the opportunity to help locate a missing child.
