Members here at CAC are awesome. No only in sharing their ideas, knowledge, photos, etc. with others but in you efforts to assist us in simply keeping this a warm, friendly, informative place to hang out. :thumbup:
Several of you have been helpful in spotting spam when it appears on the boards and have alerted us. This is much appreciated because although we do our best to block them, some manage to get through. Alerting us ensures they are dealt with promptly and the spam is removed from the boards.
You may not have noticed but we have a handy tool you can use to alert the staff if you spot any spam or any posts you feel are inappropriate (Obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws). It is the Report Post iconhttp://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/images/buttons/report.gif which is found in the top right hand corner of every post. By clicking this icon it allows you to report to us any spam or above mentioned inappropriate posts with little effort. It opens up a message box in which you type the reason you feel it is inappropriate. ie. "spam". (no need to indicate the poster's username, location of post, etc. as all this is relayed to us.) What this little tool dies is effectively alert all the staff so that it the post in question can be dealt with promptly.
