Temperature: 20-24 CSuitable Tankmates: Most peaceful community fishes, long finned fish may be nipped.

Diet: Will accept a wide variety of foods. Should be given meaty foods as well as some plant foods.
Sexing: Males have darker red.
Breeding and Reproduction: Typical egg scatterer. Breeds like Puntius titteya but fry of this species are easier to raise.
