What exactly are oddball fish anyway? I know several that fall under predatory, but oddball has me pretty much stumped. What gets a fish classed as an oddball?

i classify oddballs as fish rarley seen in a home aquarium, like chizzow's Grunting toadfish, for one...

Parayas, Wolf fish, fresh water eels... i donno, rare stuff that you cant easily put into a general or board classification...

They always seem to be associated with aggressives or 'monster fish'. I never see rare Livebearers in the Oddball category...lol. I should have a good understanding of this, being an oddball myself.... :twitcy: .

That would definitly fall under 'oddball'...lol. They do have their own appeal. I thought all of the weird looking creatures were marine.:nah:
