Ok, so i was doing at WC on my 65g, and came across a snail. Then i noticed another and another. I have no idea where they came from as i haven't acquired any new plants of fishies in a while. I know that my Clown and Weather loaches will eat them, but how can i tell if they are a snail that is a plant eater or not. If they aren't, i'd like to move them to my 25g planted, where as if they are i will let my loaches have a snail buffet......I think they are too small for pics, but maybe tomorrow i will try and get some up. Right now, they are the size of a de-hydrated pea.....

You can do some comparing here (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204). Otherwise I'd need some pic's, but most of our pest snails here are non-plant eaters. If they've shown up out of the blue you may have had them for awhile but they suddenly have enough food to up the breeding efforts. Its a good sign to cut back on the feeding in that tank. Pests have a self-preservation instinct that keeps them from out-breeding the food supply.
