I could have swore I saw a post about this here somewhere, but I guess not.
Saturday August 22 the Central Alberta Aquarium Club (based in Red Deer) is having a yard sale and BBQ. Here's a post Kelli made on CanReef:
Hi ya'll. Sorry it has been so long in waiting for me to find out what's going on with this event. There will be a garage sale, so if you have stuff to sell (fishy or not fishy related) please bring it along. 30% of the proceeds will go to the fish club. Would be preferred if you price your items before bringing them.
Edit: You can bring your garage sale items in the morning of the 22nd or drop them off on the 21st for convenience. Please make a list of your items and the cost of each item so we can keep track. It would also help to mark your items somehow so we know who's is who's. (Say a piece of tape, a green dot etc.)
It will be held at Jim Sayers house on Saturday August 22, 2009.
Garage sale to start at 10AM or so
BBQ-show up around 4pm
It would be great if people brought a food item as well (salads, deserts, drinks, etc.)
