September is here, school soon begins or has already begun in some cases, and looking at the calendar, I see club meetings are gettiung underway for another season. Even a few club auctions coming up this month. If you don't belong to a fish club and think you'd be interested in joining one, check out our Club Listing (http://www.canadianaquariumconnection.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=69) for one in your area.

:waycool::pompom::waycool:
In some areas the clubs are dwindling because of lack of members or lack of volunteers, so if you not a member think about it.
f you are a member think about helping your club out in some way.
You get more out of it when your involved in some way.
In the clubs in my area there is always a program and a mini auction, great place to buy and sell fish, plants and equipment.

Sorry that just a tad far to drive.:wink::laugh:Or I would consider it. A few members from my club are going to try to get out to a couple of other club meetings this year.

:laugh:That would be one expensive meeting and that is before the mini auction.

But the prices at the mini auction tend to be quite reasonable!! Think of all the money you'd save:ChargeIt:

Life's like that... but there's always next month (hopefully you won't have to close then).

You could stay at my house and save on hotel. You'd be in the den with 6 fish tanks so I hope the bubbling doesn't bother you. As well, it's the room with the CO2 spill so it's still kind of yeasty smelling but you're more than welcome!!!:ShakeHands:

You had better frisk her for jars of your fish when she departs :P

I wish, think you can swipe a full tank setup and THEN convince my mom I can have one :p

Awe! She won't consent to just one, if you bought it yourself? Walmart has a 10 gallon on for $35 that would be a start.

She's being a poopoohead about it. 'The cats will attack it', 'It will smell', 'You already have pets', 'No'.....With no real reasoning. And if she says yes I'm definitely going for a twenty gallon set up with a canister filter.

If I were your mom I would let you:yes:

You have to get one past her first. She is probably worried you won't take care of it and she will end up doing the cleaning.
