Hi
Just a wee suggestion here. It's something I've seen (and appreciated) on other forums. I have dial-up, so loading multiple pages (when browsing the forums) is pretty time consuming. Other forums have it set up that when you hover over the hyperlink of a thread/topic, that a pop up occurs with the beginning few sentences of the post. The title doesn't always indicate what the thread is about, and I've often clicked on a thread, waited the couple minutes it takes to load it, only to realise the topic was not what I thought it was - or wasn't really interested in. If you browse a few pages of the forums, and click on a half dozen topics or so - well, it adds up and sometimes I don't have time to check out ALL the threads I'd like to.
One fine day, high speed will come to my peice of off-the-beaten-path...

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it. I do remember how time consuming and frustrating dial-up can be.

In the meantime, if you're looking for something in particular, you can use the search option from the menu. If you chose the results to be displayed as posts (instead of threads), it will display the first part of each relevant post. That could help save you time. If you use the advanced search you can specify which forums (and a timeframe) for your search.
