I just logged in and it seems the private messgages link has disappeared from the top right hand of the screen. I also can't access all of the forums... Is this something new?

Everything is working fine for me. I sure Jay will be around as some point to check on it. The only thing I can think of is to clear your cookies and try logging in again.

This happens if you need to change your email address (which any of us may need to do at some time for various reasons). You are set back to a 'New Member' with limited privileges until I can pop in and re-approve your account.

I'm not certain if it was an email address change that caused your problem but will PM you.

Jay, my quick reply button doesn't work one one computer I use to access the site. It upsets me :P

Is it possible the two machines use a different browser or maybe even a different browser version? There are forums that I can only log onto using one browser and others I can only log onto using another browser. Over time I have learned which is which and just use the right one for each forum. Most of them I use Mozilla but a few require that I use the Microsoft browser instead.

Oldman is correct in that it is browser dependant. Your browser must be AJAX compatible to be able to use the Quick Reply button.
