Everybody is turning into a male around here, but can I get the frog to turn into a Prince? Oh noooooooooooooo  .

I have two young male Platy's that I obtained as females for Plumetail Brooders. They won't be giving me any babies though, so they're out the door. Pretty little things, I just don't have room for pretty.

You can't have the Plumetail :Neener: , but the first male is on the lower right.

And a speckled one:

Free to the first one who wants to pick them up in Surrey, BC.

I forgot to mention that I'd prefer for them to go together.

Oh and each Platy is free, or for you deal-hounds - both for free.

Hmmm... when it rains & all that...lol. Well here's my problem, friends o' mine. These fishies are just coming of age and they're very enthusiastic with their affections (note to Corbin - that's the teenager thing put delicately....lol). Therefore I need to get them out of there ASAP. If I put them in the 90G, I'll never catch the little buggers again without drowning myself or at the very least entering a non-existent wet t-shirt contest:laugh: . So whomever can get them first can have them - how's that?

Ph? They're regular Platy's - you people are obsessive fishkeepers....lol.... I'm guessing around 7.4, but they can go clear across the board on Ph with proper acclimation, with a preference for slight alkalinity.

Ms. Fish Enthusiast, I didn't find them until yesterday during waterchanges - never thought of sneaking them into your bag. :twitcy:

Remember that the flash pops those reds/golds out - the second one especially is lighter at first glance. He'll probably mature into those colors though, if I know the Sunset line.

If anyone else likes the look of 'em, I got them from Mr. CACAdmin, who sells them for a song - nice, healthy fishies.

lol.
well i dont drive & i will get lots easy out there so i can only get them if you wanna meet me at a skytrain station ;)
let me know.:idea:

Melody

I'm afraid I don't drive either and making any effort at all to give away a fish seems counter-productive  . For you to come all that way, you might as well pick one up at a store for $3 . If you can get here though, you're welcome to them. I doubt Ms. FishEnthusiast will race across town at daybreak to get them either. :nah:

I think its just the 119 from the Skytrain station, down to 82nd Ave, get off, walk down the street, there you are. There's a new fish store at the top of the hill for you to visit too :D - practically walk right by it.

DONE! SOLD! KIM'S BABIES! WHY AM I YELLING?!

On the upside, for those who can't drop everything to get a couple of male Platy's out of my tank, I will always have regular finned males popping up in this little Plumetail breeding program of mine, so I'll be sure to let you know when they are old enough to sex. In the meantime, Mr. CACAdmin has their relatives, when I'm not cleaning them all out....lol.

Thanks to all for being willing to get them out of my tanks!

LOL Sorry, I didn't see the post before I replied. That's ok, your brain works hard all day!

PM me with times and I'll see if they'll co-operate. I hate catching small fishies in big tanks - always takes forever.

And for those who think I'm being mean to poor Kim, her box was stuffed soooooooo full, there wasn't room for anymore freebies. :D

I can relate... the only fish I can catch in my 70g are tiny fry who have yet to understand what a net is!
