They don't look nearly as pretty as yours. Maybe they're younger. Unfortunately I don't have room for aggrssives... yet.

OIC - don't forget to credit your source when you use images that aren't yours, if you would please - gotta cover our legal anal fins ;) .

Regardless, yours is much nicer  . How big do they get?

you can just right click to find the source of the image ;) and its the internet, if you want to copyright something you have to have that stated in plain view.

it gets about 5-6inchs

I wish that were the case, but when it comes to posting something from one site onto another, it gets rather sticky, especially in Canada. So we need to at least source it, or you can save it to your own storage account, then its not my headache ;) . In the case of Aquarticles, the entire site and its contents are copyrighted.

They get bigger than I thought - must be quite a sight.

damn selfcentered people... who cares lol, i didnt copyright any of my weatherloach videos, im sure if they are the only real videos of it they could steal them and say they did it, i dont care though, unless they made a profit of it.

i know 6" seems big, but it must look nice.

LOL They put a lot of work into this stuff. Not agreeing with it isn't a good enough reason to violate it, unfortunately. Regardless, it is our policy as well, so please credit the photo or we'll have to remove it, which would suck. It takes less typing to credit it than it does to argue it ;) . Want another hug?

I'll look for another video when he gets to 6" - are you going to try to find him a mate?

Corbin

I have kept several M/F pairs in the past & have found them to be extremely aggressive. You may want to keep an eye on your gouramis as they may take a beating.(escpecially if you find him a girlfriend).

Corbin

yeah i no they get aggressive, but the funny thing is its the gourami picks on him.

That's a beautiful Jewel :)

I had one for a long time, she was one of my faves and got along well with the others. I had gotten a male at one point thinking that I'd like to breed them but he was so aggressive I ended up returning him to the lfs a week later because almost all the other fish were in tatters from him wreaking havoc throughout the tank. Once he went there was peace again so I think the males are definitely way more aggressive than the females and if yours is a female you might be ok with her and your other fish for a little while but I would not leave her in there permanently as there will eventually be issues and you may end up losing fish.

Yeah, if i ever find a male though, im gonna make them there own little sex tank  so no one gets hurt.
