well I went to our aquarium societies giant auction yesterday in search of some plants to fill out the tanks in the new fishroom. Mostly I was looking for some anubias or some narrow leaf java fern at the auction. Well, I did end up coming home with three plants, and all of them were anubias.
Funny story to go along with the bag of two anubias plants I bought from a freind. After I paid him for the plants he jokingly said, you might want to check those plants as my panda corys sometimes spawn on the leaves.. I laughed and said.. sure.. whatever.. On the off chance there was anything I checked right before i threw them in the tank, moreso to check for snail eggs. Well to my surprise, I pulled 9 panda cory eggs off the leaves. It looks like there were two or three spawns from the eggs as they are in various stages of developement. The eggs are now floating in a container in one of the tanks as I don't have all my fishroom supplies transfered. I sure hope they hatch!!!
anyways, I had already posted pics in the DIY section, but will post again in here of the anubias plants in the tanks. I like to just float them and let them do their thing as the corys seem to like it that way.
