Very well organized and clearly written instructions for a DIY Auto Waterchange System (http://ovas.ca/index.php?page=52). Everything is here from where the builder got his supplies to photos of the process.

Posts of your own experience would rock. Seems what one person doesn't think of, the other does, and there's always adjustments to make it work for your particular set-up.

If there's one appeal to having a fishroom, its the possibility of auto-water-changes....lol....I don't think I'd even bother with one if I couldn't set that up. I don't mind the maintenance, but it is definitly the downside of having so many tanks.

at least my fish room is all connected to one sump. which makes things easier...

my design has an overflow hole drilled right in the 75gallon sump tank, so no need for the sump pump and an extra machanical bit to break down eventually hahahah...

the only thing that has put a wrench in my gears, is the fact that i would have to drain outside and its freezing every night here still, so that wouldnt work... hahah

ill think of something... and post all about it :)

cheers
