Official Rules
ELIGIBILITY
All individuals who are registered members of Canadian Aquarium Connection with full member status and with a Canadian mailing address are eligible to participate in the contest with the following exceptions: Administrators of Canadian Aquarium Connection, or members of their immediate family and/or those individuals living in the same household of each are NOT eligible. Members who are Banned by Canadian Aquarium Connection as of the closing date of the contest are also NOT eligible. Canadian Aquarium Connection reserves the right to verify all eligibility requirements.
ENTRIES AND WINNERS:
To win a prize a member must be the first member to send a Private Message on the forum to CACAdmin (Administrator) stating the URL or Title of the thread where the CAC mascot photo is currently posted by CACAdmin (excluding the one(s) posted in threads in the Contests Section of the Forum) and guess the correct number assigned to the location of the prize. Time stamp of the Private Message will the determine the winner.
AWARDING OF PRIZES:
Prizes will only be awarded to members who upon being notified of having won a prize, provide the Administrator(s) of Canadian Aquarium Connection of their name and a valid Canadian mailing address, to enable the awarding and shipping (where required) of the prize to the winner. This confidential information will not be shared with anyone without your prior permission and then only in the event it is required to enable us to award the prize.
PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION
The winner will be notified by the Administrator(s) by a Private Message on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website and within ten (10) days of this attempted notification the he/she will be required to provide a Canadian mailing address to enable the awarding of the prize. Failure to reply within this time frame or non compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and, at the discretion of Canadian Aquarium Connection, the prize will be revoked.
POSTING OF THE WINNER
A list of winners by USERNAME will be posted on the Canadian Aquarium Connection website after after the prize has been awarded.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
By participating, members agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Canadian Aquarium Connection and its sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects. Members agree to hold Canadian Aquarium Connection, its sponsors, and their respective families, affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, prize manufacturers/distributors and the respective directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing (collectively, the "Released Parties"), harmless against any and all claims and/or liability arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest, acceptance, use or redemption of a prize, and/or use of any rights granted herein.
Released Parties are not responsible for late, delayed, misdirected, lost, damaged, or undelivered communications, including but not limited to private messages and email; or for any other errors or problems of any kind relating to or in connection with the contest, including, but not limited to errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the contest, the announcement of the prizes or winners or in any contest-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any injury or damage to person(s) or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from an individual’s participation in the contest.
