It looks bigger than a 55. How many tanks do you have at home?

I like the Octopus  .

I know they do look bigger but no they are 55s. Right now I have around 10. Some are 20g holding tanks for new arivals

I really like the rics, octopus and the brain. well basically all of then lol :)

So i'm new in sw. Something that has always confused me was the difference between ricordia yumas and ricordia floridae. Can you explain? I'd like to keep some in my tank but I just dont know how well they'll do

Well I guess it depends on you tank and where you plan on placing it.

Ricordia florida has a symbiotic relationship with algae zooxanthellae it is hosted within this organism this is what gives it its color. It will adapt to a wide variety of lighting conditions, and care should be taken to acclimate this coral to metal halide lighting. Place the coral low in the aquarium until it opens fully, and then gradually over a few weeks, move the coral to the desired location. It prefers a low water movement within the aquarium. It's semi-aggressive

Ricordia yuma has the same algea as the florida but it requires a medium to high light level, but metal halide lighting may be too bright. It prefers a low water movement within the aquarium, and it may not be as hardy as some of the other mushroom corals. It is also semi-aggressive

hope this helps
