:SantaStuck: Most cities have at least one Christmas Bureau and Google will bring them up. Don't forget to search out events - you can often find wonderful holiday events that only ask for a toy or food donation.

People can normally shop the bureaus until the week before Christmas. We're expecting an increase in need for gifts of 30+%, according to today's local paper.

It's fun buying the cute little toys for youngsters, but remember the Christmas gift collections always end up short for teens, especially 12-16. There are all sorts of things that will always be appreciated:

:Holiday-13: Personal items like deoderant, combs & makeup.
:Holiday-11: Electronics (organizers seem to go over well)
:Holiday-12: DVD's
:Holiday-14: CD's
:Holiday-13:Books & magazines - mine likes stories based on games, game cheats and pretty much anything to do with games period...lol, along with music books and drawing books
:Holiday-11:Battery chargers & rechargable batteries
:Holiday-12:Memory sticks
:Holiday-14:Memory cards
:Holiday-13:Trendy calendars & posters
:Holiday-11:Hoodies
:Holiday-12:Belts for guys (oversized jeans are still in style) & girls.
:Holiday-14:Gloves

For all ages, I focus on school supplies because they are expensive and they usually need replacing anytime now. They can still be fun! Art supplies, themed pencils & notebooks, etc.

Please add your own suggestions!

If you would like to promote an event, by all means post. Thanks for caring & sharing!:CokeSanta:

Please feel free to copy & paste charity lists elsewhere - the more people who see it, the better!
