We've had a couple of fires here this week and I'm waiting to see if either one has donation information published.

It happens every year - fires, robberies, etc. If something happens in your area and you need to rally the troops quickly to get a Christmas in place for them, please post requests & info. here so people in your area can help. We can move pretty fast when we want to!

It's an awesome lesson in giving for kids when these things happen too. When it happens Christmas Eve or the day before, there often isn't time to go shopping and get it to the people in need. We can then ask our kids to give up a gift for the children who have lost theirs. It makes them feel good and it helps someone else.

Stay safe this holiday season!

SQUAMISH BC - Eight families who were left homeless when fire destroyed their Squamish townhomes are being looked after on a temporary basis by Emergency Social Services under the district's emergency program.
