I know what you plant gurus are thinking, you're thinking "How come all of the coups happen to people who don't even fertilize regularly?"
Here we have a new hybrid plant that has grown spontaneously in my tank. The base says Windelov, the branches are obviously Java Moss, the leaves sport a hint of Duckweed, Najas Grass adds texture and I don't think anyone would argue that there's Elodea involved in this sordid affair!

It's very flexible so no worries about breakage:

You saw it here first! I'll be selling it on the auction soon, only $128/square inch. But what shall we name it?

Surely we can come up with something better to name it after - this is a world first Jay! :SoExcited: People will ask "Where do I get that plant? You know, the one seen first on CAC?!" This is exciting stuff!
And it's the perfect fry cover even!:swoon:

I name it Triffidous meloudii in your honor. Keep an eye on that thing I don't know if it can be trusted.

I have the relative of that plant in my shrimp tank. It consists of stems of pelia and java moss, a trunk of riccia, flowers of pennywort and java fern with some duckweed for good measure. My shrimps love to climb on it!!

That is a handsome male BN Pleco, whom I believe came from a Pamelajo spawn, raised to a huge size by Jay. He has attitude when it comes to food so I have to feed a piece just for him and another to the tank for the other fish, but a little sass never hurts a male in my eyes anyways  . Apparently he's too aggressive for the ladies though, as he hasn't spawned with either female in the tank with him.

Melody don't tell me you have not seen Day of the Triffids (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8B_NcamuKQ&feature=related), it's a classic British horror flick about killer plants. Time to break out the old VCR. There looks like there is even a remake in the works, more of a spoof really.
Can you tell I am well versed in botanical nomenclature, having been a plant geek for so many years. :GEEK:

Can you tell I don't watch TV? I don't even know what channel the program guide is on, let alone how to make the DVD Player / VCR work. On the rare occasion that I watch somethin, my Son works the projector.
