I have never made it to the Rio Meta in Colombia, but these guys have been there. It's a small group of very young wild caught Corydoras metae I've had here for the past month or so - a great little, sociable catfish for the community tank.

Plans for breeding them? Yes and no. They have some serious growth ahead of them first, but certainly, if I can, I will. Right now, they are community fish.
My barbatus fry are now young adults and were courting yesterday after a water change. They haven't been alive that long - it's a surprise.
I might try my melanotaenia next. They're the right size and are doing a lot of chasing.

Courting, eh?Spring must be in the air (even if it doesn't feel like it).:laugh:
