Secure those tanks Vancouver Island & vacinity. I'm sure you've probably heard about the tremors headed your way, but just in case I thought I'd post.

I would suggest that you lower the waterline to as low as you can go in order to reduce pressure from shifting water.
Anyone else have some suggestions?
It doesn't look like its going to be a big deal, but y'all stay safe regardless and let us know if we can help in any way.

I think I'm actually behind the times...lol...the latest news is the tremors have stopped so there may be nothing happening after all.

We actually get lots of tiny tremors all the time... so small that we don't notice it. However, warnings like that remind us that there is always the potential for something much bigger and more serious. We all know we should have a supply of water, food and a first aid kit handy but we often overlook some things.
As for tanks, it might be a good time to look and see if you have things that aren't very secure... like a light fixture just resting on top edge of a tank (which could fall in with a large enough jolt, or another object near a tank which could potentially fall and break the glass.
Always practical to take assessment of potential problems/dangers whether it be of your aquariums or of anything else in your home.
