Hello! I just joined today, and I have some pregnant platies, 2 females actually, with a male in the tank, my tank is a 10 gallon,
I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but here's some pics of them, would you be able to tell me how far along they are roughly? and how much longer they have till they give birth?
Also,... what are the signs that their ready to drop? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure my platies will do fine!

P.S.
I also have a pregnant guppy, I'll try a get some pics of her too!

Pretty fish. Platys get quite large and develop a squared off look to their bellies before they drop so I'd say you have a while to wait. You mentioned in your introductory thread that you had other tanks as well as this 10g, which is good because the resulting fry will quickly fill that 10g. However, without plant cover for the fry to hide in, nature will take its course and the adults (cannibals that they are) will snack on the fry (a natural method of population control).

Ok! Thank-you! Once the babies are big enough, I already have this pet store near my house that'll take them!, He said he would give me store credit!

Looks like the Platys have nice colour to them, you should get some nice looking fry from them.

is the lighter one due anytime soon?
it looks like I can see a white tube with a "black circle" inside of it, is that the birthing tube?
