I am moving the shrimp and snails around to my other tanks so that I can have fish in my 33G again. I don't want any small schooling fish like tetras or rasboras (been there, done that). The tank will have a pH of 7.0 and temp of 78F. There will be driftwood, gravel and maybe some easy, low-light plants. The only fish that will go in there for sure is my 2" bristlenose pleco. I like rainbows but I think they get too big. Any thoughts?

Have you tried Apistos before?

Most Rainbows would be fine in there. If you want to go a tad more aggressive, I've always wanted to try Apistos too.
You could also do the entire thing in wild-type Livebearers. What a unique tank that would be!
I'm working on my pushy sales person side. How'd I do?

A male Dwarf Gourami would look good in there

So it looks like the tank has to be torn down and moved since the GF (and all her furniture) are moving in. I'm actually OK with it since it gives me a chance to get rid of the planaria problem for good. Once I have the tank set up and cycled again I am planning on 6 dwarf neon rainbows and my BN pleco. What other tankmates would work with this set-up?

Oh, and a question for Melody: IF (notice the if?) I decided to do a tank of wild-type livebearers, what have you got for sale?

Nothing....lol....but I know people who do. I've been cleaning everything out in anticipation of Spring incoming. I may have some ready by the time you do it though, L. Perugiae for one. Possibly some wild-type Sailfin Mollies. Mr. SB has L. Nigrofasciata and Ms. Fishenthusiast has L. Tridens and Ms. Amber has Green Goodeids, so I'm sure you could fill the tank no prob if that's the route you'd want to take. I've seen the fish of all three and I have to say they've all done an excellent job with them - nice & healthy.
As for the Rainbows, most all community fish are fine with them & their parameters.
