My Pleco

I never really considered pleco's to be a pretty fish until now. This is the first one I've had and it just keeps looking better and better. They actually are a pretty fish as they get older. This one is now four inches long and was only about 1 1/2 inches long when I got him/her.

Out of curiosity, how long does it usually take for them to reach their full length?

Very pretty. I love plecos. How big and how long until full size is dependant upon what type it is and that I'll leave to the folks who are good at ID'ing them (which I'm not).

Impressive looking dorsal fin, how big will depend on the species, somewhere from about 4 inches to about 18 inches.

Thanks for the replies. :Smile: I have been told that he/she is a just a common pleco so I was expecting him to get big I just don't know how quickly they grow.
