Get some more CO2 into the tank. You could also try double dosing of Flourish Excel which is known to kill BBA but be warned, certain plants (such as valisneria) will melt away.

You need to double dose for a week for it to be effective. Towards the end of the week the BBA should start to turn red as it dies off. I'd follow up with a big water change. What plants and livestock do you have in the tank?

well i sorta have it in both tanks,
the 33g has a breedign pair of rams, 2 female american flagfish, 2m2f gardneri killifish, 5 clown plecos,8 harlequin rasporas, 5 anubias, 1 sword plant, some grassy stuff (not vallisneria) some crypts, and some stemmed plants, i think its duck something, and red bacopa
the 55g has a few swords, a few anubias, vallisneria, and 11 sterbai cories, 2 l240 flash plecos, 2 bristlenose plecos, 2 american flagfish, 1 pair of rams, 4 angelicus loaches, 1 breedign pair of angels, 12 silvertip tetras.
i think thats all of it

The crypts might have problems too.

I get this stuff in the GF tank, as they're is no CO2. The GF tend to like their salad, so I've never bothered with CO2. Excel will help a little, but I've never had great sucess. I find that Hydrogen Peroxide works pretty well; just squirt from a syringe on the BBA in the tank. Don't use more than about 2 ml per gallon at one time, depending on the type of creatures/plants you have.
If it gets on the ornaments/driftwood I just put them in a bucket and nuke with diluted bleach.
