I can't believe it. Well, yes I can but darn it all :laugh:. I go out today and pick up some really lovely platy fry (thanks again Jay!) and come home to what you ask??? P. Sphenops (Liberty Molly) fry. Lots of them! They are small so I am hoping they become a midnight snack for some of my older fish. If not....I guess I am raising a bunch of liberty mollies. I already have 6 in the tank from a few weeks ago. Anyone need/want any beautiful mollies :WhoMe:?

I barely stopped myself from doing that to Jay. I offered to bring him some Tridens fry when I picked up his platies. I had to stop myself at 4....I wanted so badly to give him more. I still have at least 20 fry growing out and mom is about to drop again.

I haven't done a head count, but most of the mollies survived. The darn things are too big for the other fish in the tank to eat. Except of course for their parents who seem to think the more the merrier because they leave them alone!

I love livebearers. I am having so much fun with them. I can't imagine ever having a tank without them again.

In case anyone is interested, Ms. fishenthusiast's Tridens fry are beautiful... such cute little ones... they've made themselves quite at home in my tank. Thanks again, for sharing!:D
