Here are my guys little over a month old not and growing like weeds :)
I ended up with 9 in total. I "THINK" there is 2 males and 7 females?

Congrats! They sure look like they're doing well. It's fun to watch them grow. You'll have to forgive this old forgetful brain of mine but how big do they get?

They aren't a big cichild. About 4-5 inches. You have to have a 3-1 ratio of males to females. More females of course :)
What is cool the male has black stripes of a blue background. The female looks like an Electric Yellow. When she doesn't want to spawn she turns on stripes to look like the male.
They are mouth brooders.
Really hard to find info on these guys as as there is so many in that species. Pseudotropheus (Salousi).

That's a nice little intro article on them. I got curious when I saw these pictures, as I haven't kept Malawi cichlids for a long time. Nice little fish!

i've bred them in the past, and i have to say they are an awesome little mbuna. very colorful, and the babies are just the cutest thing!
we don't see them much around here... good luck with the fry!
