I've never taken pics of my fish and posted them before. Mainly due to not having a camera. Anyway I borrowed one and got some taken of these guys for Melody's classified thread. Now it seems they are almost sold, so to get some use out of the pics I'm reposting here hehe.

The white specks are BBS I threw in to slow the buggers down a bit. I also had to slap the glass to get the female out of a corner, so she's a wee bit paler than normal. They are called humpback limias, but I think BBQ limia would be better, looks like they have grill lines to me...mmm

They're beautiful Mr. SB - You've done such a fantastic job with them. Thanks for getting them for me, but consider it an investment. I'm selling your future ones too....lol...I think Blaine wants to reserve some for starters.

I like the silverty mauve sheen that they have in brighter light too - sets those bars off to perfection! Their shape alone is unique.

Very nice pictures! I can't wait for mine to look like that! I am pretty sure the female is pregnant, but the last thing I need right now is more babies.

Then you shall have lots. You have to want babies, then you shall have none. That's the law of fishies. Its in a book somewhere, I'm sure of it. Its right after the chapter about the fish dropping dead that you value most, whereas the fish you don't particularly like will outlive you.

About all I may have left is a female. I'm still debating if I'll keep some or not. If I don't, those will be up for grabs.

What I like most about Limias is they have a Molly personality. They're curious and friendly. They'll scatter if I approach the tank, but seconds later they're nose to nose with me, wondering just what I'm up to  .
