View Full Version : Adding a sump-ish thing to my 10g

This is what happens when your bored on Valentines and have extra stuff lying around..

i hooked a 5g to my 10 g. added a bottom filter and a sponge filter in the 5. heres a pic that shows you how it works :laugh:.

Nice ... but what happens when the power goes out. IS the sump lower than the tank?

Okay, here Version 2.1 after trying a couple times, i made a DIY overflow box with a 1L ocean spray juice container, now i wont have a flooded room :twitcy:

If the snail attacks you again, don't run, that just sends them into a frenzy. You have to slowly back away, being sure not to make eye contact.
Nice experiment btw, I want to play with this stuff, but have the sump underneath so I can have the stealth look in the main tank...
