Petsmart Aquires Super Pet Stores

Speaking of Super Pet - has anyone checked out their annual Super Sale (http://www.superpet.com/SuperSale.htm)? Runs from the 12th to the 25th. I'm not close to their stores so I don't get there often.:no:

Are they going to start selling Top Fin products?

If they are i'm going to miss my Super Pet, they had some awsome aquatic plants, which i cant say about Petsmart, at least the ones i have been to.

Bummer, I wish this was the other way round.
I liked the Super Pet in Richmond.
Petsmart reminds me a lot of Petcetera, nuff said...

I think one of the appeals of Superpet is that they are a chain store without the chain store mentality. Petsmart hasn't acquired all Superpet stores though, so Richmond will remain Superpet. I don't know for how long, but I should think the deal would include them all if it could, since Petsmart is looking to expand anyway.

Yeah thats the feeling I got from Super Pet. Hopefully the Richmond store can hold out against the forces of darkness...

i was in my local superpet today... and it sounds like my store is going to stay superpet, but top fin is in, and hagen is out. They will also have a new fish stock, and they are re-training employees.
