Everyone has Crabs

In TBay they set up one of those little kiosks where they sell Hermit Crabs. I guess they are popular because everyone seems to be buying them and trying to unload them on Kijiji. They come with 'fun' shells that are painted too.

Sad. I suppose they are one of those pets that you buy thinking its fun and easy and turns out that its a real living thing and - oh dear - you have to take care of it?!?!

see those around here before Christmas. when I was a kid, the equivalent was red eared slider babies that came with a plastic pool, complete with plastic palm tree.
