Their color returned in l;ike 5-10 minutes and they were so much happier and have been great ever since.. Glad I didnt look them...

but... on a plus note... got 75$ worth of gift cards for PETCETRA... damn... gotta drive to coquitlam now... too bad the closed the one a few block from my place.

Epic,
Happy New year.
That's a one fish tank - a terrible shape if you want a community. The surface area of a tank is the most important thing, as oxygen exchange is essential for the fish. That happens at the surface. Tall tanks with small bases are not good for the fish. The only fish that run up and down a tank (rather than across) are ones getting ready to jump out.
It's also expensive, although prices vary across the country. In Montreal, a full kit 20 gallon can be found for $80. That's a lot more fishtank with many more possibilities, and only a 24 inch 'footprint' if space is an issue..

Welcome back!

It's a cool shape if you're looking for an aquatic ornament, but I agree that it's not very functional. Personally I wouldn't pay that for a 5g tank, supposing I have my conversion right. I certainly wouldn't put 8 fish in it like they have in the picture either - I wish they'd stop that. They'll have larger, basic sets that are more functional and cost less.

Welcome back! Good news, it's supposed to start warming up mid-week so that white stuff should disappear... not soon enough for my liking.

Good luck with the tank shopping. Let us know what you find.
