In January, although more than 600 people got sick in Hong Kong after eating oilfish mislabelled as cod, the same fish found its way to markets in Canada. Here it seems it was labelled cod or seabass. It was investigated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, taken off the market but no advisory was issued to the public.
